Susan Turconi

Turconi has lectured and taught art history, art appreciation, workshops
and studio classes locally and nationally for university, colleges, art
centers and various community groups, most recently at Manatee Community
College and Venice Art Center.

In
2005, she was an invited featured speaker at the World Forum Convention
Center, the Hague, the Netherlands for the EUROPEAN COUNCIL OF
INTERNATIONAL STUDIES (www.ecis.org) at their annual meeting,
conference and exhibition. Her topic: "Break Through Barriers, the
Cultural Challenge of Creativity in the World of Art." She spoke on three
occasions: as an artist, an educator and a survivor of the world of art
and the ivory tower.
