My two homes have instilled in me a love of both mountains
and seashore.
I am currently immersed in landscape painting and working
‘en plein air’ allows me to become a part of the nature which has always
inspires me Often I will do quick sketches out of doors, take a few
reference photos and then let my imagination influence the outcome as I
complete the work in my studio.
My art has been a reflection of my dance throughout life.
Early in life I worked in oils and for years sculpture in clay and bronze
satisfied my sense of “the dance”. Now I find that color and light beckon
me to work in pastel. Always my work has been a form of meditation and a
source of peace.

EDUCATION: BS in Educ. Primarily self taught in the field
of art
OCCASIONAL WORKSHOPS have been a stimulus throughout the
years
APPRENTICESHIP for more than five years in the studio of

mastering clay and bronze including an understanding of casting.
